Built for the Game.
Built for the Southwest.
Flight 915 Sports is an El Paso-based sports organization committed to creating competitive, professionally organized basketball experiences for athletes, teams, families, fans, and communities throughout the Southwest.
Our mission is simple: create opportunities, elevate competition, and deliver basketball events that players and teams will want to return to year after year.
Flight 915 Sports was built from a passion for basketball, player development, competition, leadership, and community. We believe basketball is more than what happens during four quarters.
The game creates relationships, develops character, brings communities together, and gives athletes an opportunity to compete at their highest level.
Meet the Tournament Director.
Todd Stevenson brings basketball coaching, player development, leadership, and organizational experience to the Best in the West Showdown.
Todd was selected to serve on the All-Army Basketball coaching staff, an achievement that reflects his experience, leadership, and commitment to competitive basketball.
Throughout his coaching career, he has focused on player development, team building, discipline, preparation, and creating a competitive basketball culture. Those same principles are at the foundation of the Best in the West Showdown.
In addition to his basketball experience, he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Project Management, a Master of Public Administration (MPA), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). His background in project management, leadership, administration, and organizational planning complements his basketball experience in developing and managing BTWS.
The 2027 Best in the West Showdown will be the inaugural BTWS tournament. The vision is to establish a premier annual adult men's basketball event that brings competitive teams from across the Southwest to El Paso for high-level competition, meaningful cash awards, quality officiating, and a professionally organized tournament experience.
